Minimum Standards – Technology Platform (2025 Edition)

To ensure reliable and secure delivery of Services, the following minimum standards must be in place across all supported devices and systems:

Workstations & Laptops

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (fully licensed & supported by Microsoft).

  • macOS: Latest 2 supported versions.

  • CPU: Intel i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 (or Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3) or higher.

  • RAM: Minimum 8GB (16GB recommended).

  • Storage: SSD required.

  • Management: Devices must be joined to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Intune-managed.

Servers

  • Operating System: Windows Server 2019 or newer (fully licensed & supported).

  • Must be under active warranty or vendor support contract.

  • Virtualisation: Hyper-V, VMware, or Azure-supported platforms only.

  • Backups: Verified daily backups in place (cloud and/or hybrid).

Networking & Security

  • Firewall: Business-grade firewall with current firmware (Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, or approved equivalent).

  • Wi-Fi: WPA3 or WPA2-Enterprise encryption required. Consumer-grade routers not supported.

  • Internet: Business-grade connection with static IP where required for services.

Email & Collaboration

  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard (or higher) subscription for all users.

  • All mailboxes must be hosted in Microsoft 365 (no POP/IMAP).

  • MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication): Required for all accounts.

Endpoint Security

  • All endpoints must run Our approved Managed AV & EDR solution.

  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint enabled unless superseded by Our platform.

Patching & Updates

  • Automatic updates enabled for Windows and macOS.

  • Third-party patching delivered via Our RMM platform.

  • Unsupported operating systems (Windows 10 after October 2025, Windows Server 2012, etc.) are not supported.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

  • All critical data included in a verified backup solution (Datto SaaS Protection, Datto BCDR, or equivalent).

  • Backup jobs must be monitored daily.

General Requirements

  • Reliable business-grade internet connection.

  • All users must have a unique login (no shared accounts).

  • End-of-life hardware/software may be deemed unsupported at Our discretion.
